Another Lead Singer Bites the Dust

He explained that the arrangement was never meant to be permanent. Queen + Paul Rodgers--the name the trio chose to represent themselves got together in 2004 for a performance at the United Kingdom Music Hall of Fame. The response was such that the trio went on to embark on two world tours, as well as two live and one studio album.
Rodgers stresses that he is not closing the book entirely on his time with Queen--"It's kind of an open book, really. If they approach me to do something for charity, for instance, or something like that. I'd be very much into doing that, for sure." During his time with Queen Rodgers' was involved in the recording of the first Queen studio album since 1995's Made in Heaven. "There were a lot of younger people who had given up the idea they'd ever see anything like Queen live again, and there it was, full on,” explaining exactly how much of an honor his time with Queen was.
Rogers' former band Bad Company will reunite for a ten date run in June and the release of a live DVD this August.
