Aerosmith Back in the Saddle

After John McCain’s unwarranted use of bands such as Heart, Jackson Browne, the Foo Fighters, Bon Jovi, and John aerosmithMellencamp throughout his campaign, Republicans have found a new soundtrack actually willing  to  support them this time. Representative Eric Cantor of Virginia has borrowed Aerosmith’s “Back in the Saddle” in an attempt to appear relevant, and also discredit Obama’s stimulus plan. The song will not be fought against because Guitarist Joe Perry proclaimed during the campaign that he is indeed on Team Republican. The music is being used in conjunction with an apparently low funded screensaver video that has some white text flying against a black backdrop stating faults of the stimulus. Millions of dollars on golf carts? One billion for Acorn? The message is supposed to echo Rep. Cantor’s pep rallying belief that “The House GOP is back”…. in the saddle.
