On February 9th, John Legend will headline the Heineken New Legends Series at the Apollo Theater. Joined by Estelle he will pay homage to the legendary theater as it kicks off its 75th Anniversary Season. Legend’s show is 
not only kicking off the theater’s new season, but will close out the US leg of his tour.
Legend has sold more than five million albums worldwide, garnered multiple hit singles (“Ordinary People," "Used to Love U," "So High," "Save Room," "Heaven," "Another Again"), received countless awards (including five Grammy’s) and wowed crowds where ever he goes. Music's leading producers clamor to work with him. Fashion aficionados can't get enough of his incomparable style. And the humanitarian community has rallied around his fight to end poverty. Critics have called him a genius, one of the most compelling and important singer/songwriters of this generation, an elegant ambassador of soul.

The film follows the band through the making and touring of their 2007 album Neon Bible, documenting the band at their Montreal studio, the making of promotional films and videos, along with live footage and a few short films made on the road.
Artists and performers include Von Pea (Tanya Morgan), Hasan Salaam, Bless Roxwell, Calvin Booker (Fela!). All proceeds go to Bed Stuy Campaign Against Hunger, a 98% volunteer based non-profit working vigorously to fight hunger by providing free food and social services to residents in Bed Stuy and Brownsville. Silent auction contributors include Anu Jewelry (Brooklyn), the Brooklynite Gallery, Embora Wellness Studio, Kilo Goods Apparel, Zknits, and many more.
